Friday Night Features: “The Origin of Creatures” Short Film

Friday night means it’s time for Friday Night Features! Tonight’s film is The Origin of Creatures, written and directed by Floris Kaayk. This 2010 short spins a post-apocalyptic reimagining of the Tower of Babel, where mutated limbs creep and crawl together in a frantic but ultimately doomed mission to bring sunlight to the colony’s pulsating, heaving queen.  Enjoy, darlings.

  1. That weirded me out. I demand reparations.

  2. I’m going to revisit this one. Had nightmares all night and then read this “where mutated limbs creep and crawl together in a frantic but ultimately doomed mission to bring sunlight to the colony’s pulsating, heaving queen…” so yeah. I will come back to this, lol.
