Friday Night Features: “Cost of Living” Short Film

Welcome back, darlings, to your home for horror short films, Friday Night Features!  Every week, we feature a new short film from somewhere on the horror spectrum.  This week, we have something a little different: Cost of Livingan action/horror/comedy short written and directed by BenDavid Grabinski. This 2011 short debuted at last year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and features the familiar faces of Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Bret Harrison (Reaper) as security guards questioning their employment choices when they are called to help resolve an incident at work.  I think this one will resonate especially with Cabin in the Woods fans. Enjoy!

    • Of course, darling. Feel free to poke around the site – we cover the whole landscape of Halloween inspiration around here, whether it’s horror movies, vintage images, or dreamy art for costume design.
