The Year of Halloween brings you year-round haunted history, art, ghastly DIY, and what’s hot in horror.
Where dwell the Ghouls,—
By each spot the most unholy—
In each nook most melancholy—
There the traveller meets aghast
Sheeted Memories of the Past—
Shrouded forms that start and sigh
As they pass the wanderer by…
Your makeup is Divine.
Thank you, darling. Here’s a link to a great tutorial for doing this look.
Great site! I’m glad you came to check out my little bat pin – I love all things Halloween 🙂
Thanks – your little bat was quite cute! Love the recycling challenge.
Come see my new little friend. He even says “Boo!” Let me know what you think. http://wp.me/p11P5U-5l
Because I just love Halloween and all things horror, I am going to add The Year of Halloween to the blogroll at Anti-Film School! I love this site and you consistently have creative posts! Keep striking fear into our hearts, Eva Halloween!
-Steve
Aww, thanks Steve! Happy to be added – I’m a big fan of Anti-Film School.
Really cool site. Halloween is my holiday and to see someone celebrating like this is nice to see.
Thanks! Come back and visit any time. 😉
Will do.
What a great blog you have here!! I love it 🙂
Hi Brittni, thanks for stopping by. I was so pleased to find your site – I am definitely putting Acrylic Zombieon my reading rotation!
Thanks for dropping by, I think we like similar things. Let’s see where it takes us. Kristin.
Thanks for your comment, Kristin. You’re welcome at TYoH anytime. 🙂
I think that’s a pretty decent purpose. I support your blog existing.
Posky, I will accept that as praise of the highest order. Thanks!
Good, because I support it fully. That means you get some diplomatic aide and even a bit of military support if the need ever comes up.
Excellent news. Having legions of demons available if needed does tend to help on the martial side, but it is truly useless when it comes to diplomacy.
Following and will add your site to my blogroll.
Thank you, JMount! I’m so pleased to be added – Written in Blood is great fun. 🙂
A whole blog devoted to Halloween :-)… love it!
Thanks Vladimir! Hope to see you back here again some time.
Charming site, it’s nice to have found you!
Thank you, Chloe. I have been quite enjoying The Dark End of the Street as well.
Thank you!
Hello Eva Halloween — as I just took down my Halloween decorations a couple of weeks ago, I’ll be checking in on you, as I’m obviously in love with Halloween — I’m already soliciting suggestions for this year’s Halloween decorations…this is great — a girl after my own heart…
I’m glad to have you stopping by, SCB. You know, this isn’t the first time I’ve been accused of being a girl after someone’s heart, but they’ve never once been able to make those charges stick.
I love your site, such cool ideas! We live in a “haunted” house that has been investigated several times. Half of the family thinks its real…half does not. Me? I think there is something to it and your site reminded me of that!
I’m so pleased that you’re enjoying the site. Hope you stop back again – if the ghosties at your house let you, that is! 😉
Great that I found out about your site, thanks for liking it, I guess you liked the halloween part thou 😀 I would be happy if you follow me too , peace ! 😀
Just say “Halloween” and I’ll be lurking around somewhere. 🙂
Agreed ! I showed your profile picture to a friend of mine telling that you were one the first person checking out my site 😀 Beautiful blog indeed ! Here is a heart ❤ for my first friend on my website yaay !
Many more contents to come ! 😉
Halloween ! 😀
Hi Eva – thanks for liking my last post. Great site, I’ll explore so more. You should get on out to Salem, MA (my hometown) for Halloween if you haven’t been already. It’s great to walk around and see such inventive costumes etc. Good luck with your site!
Bob
Thanks, Bob. I have been several times, but never for Halloween. I hear it is just delicious.
Eva,
It took long enough, but your wonderful blog has finally been added to my blogroll.

Le Clown
Why, thank you, my dear. You are a darling man, Le Clown, but don’t worry – I won’t tell anyone. 😉
Consider yourself blog-stalked 😀
Thanks for stopping by, Craig. Good thing my dignity prevents me from telling you that I was actually poking around at your site just now. 🙂
You were very gentle. I never felt a thing 😀
My goodness, I don’t believe that’s something I’ve ever been accused of before. 😉
Thanks for the ‘like’! You have a very interesting blog. It’s nice to find another believer.
Thanks for the thumb’s up on my blog, Fried Neck Bones…and Some Home Fries. I’ll be referring to your blog for all things Halloween.

Thanks for your comment on my article “Blowing Glass For The First Time”! I am loving your makeup. I enjoyed looking at this site: it is refreshingly different.
I LOVE your picture here : ) AND that chair!
your place here is fantastic!
Awww, thanks, IPC! It’s such a fun look. That chair was at the Halloween party I went to that night, next to a roaring fire in the library room. I was prepared to move in, I assure you. 🙂
I bet! Next time you’re there go ahead and make it out of there with that thing and mail it to me. THANKS!! : )
There are two chairs – if you provide the distraction, I’ll put them under my coat! 50/50 split seems fair. 🙂
A much better picture of them here – they really are fabulous.
uh… WOW!!
Eva, thanks for liking my recent vampire artwork! Your site is very cool! I thought I was a little crazy watching Halloween specials and drawing horror themed illustrations back in January but it’s great to see others carrying the Halloween spirit with them all year long 🙂 Now I really can’t wait to unpack the Halloween decorations. if only I was young enough to go trick or treating again…
Thank you so much! I’m always thrilled to see how many people are interested all year in that little frisson Halloween inspires. Please come back and visit anytime, darling. 🙂
