Friday Night Features: “Masks” Short Film

mask

OK – so Dear Eva is not around tonight so since I have a key to this place I thought it would be nice if I helped her out and gave you all a movie to watch.  Lucky for me a friend on Google Plus told me about this one named “Masks”.  Not sure why.  Apparently he thought something to do with masks would appeal to me for some reason….

And of course since this is a horror thing there is a sweet twist.  And speaking of sweet twists, you all need to stop thinking I am a chick.  Seriously.  What do I have to do?  Get lost and refuse to ask for directions?  Try to solve your problems that you don’t actually want me to solve because you just want me to listen to you?  Get annoyed when you ask me if I am putting the Ikea thing together right because OF COURSE I AM and then get more annoyed when we find out I didn’t?  I can do those things.  No problem.

And I can also post this cool short horror movie for you because my friend Eva can’t do it this week.  So all of you make sure you tell her hi in the comments.  And also tell her what a good job I did.  And take a screen shot of what this post looks like because I am pretty sure that when Eva actually gets to see it she is going to find all the things I did wrong.

HALF-ASSING IT LIKE A MAN!  MORE PROOF!  Enjoy the movie after the jump.

  1. When I was in high school, a sort-of friend of mine wanted to go away for the weekend with his girlfriend. His mom worked nights and was generally oblivious, and he gave us the key to his house so we could put his schoolbooks there, dirty a few plates, leave the TV on, make it look like he had been there so his mom wouldn’t suspect.

    We moved all the furniture.

Boy, was he pissed! So, yeah, don’t do that.

Note to Eva: If Acadia leaves the place the way he found it, he did a good job. 🙂

  2. Are they chanting, “balls, balls”? Now I kinda do believe you’re a dude

  3. Hi Eva! Thanks for letting your gender confused friend post tonight.

  4. Well played, ah… sir…?

    Also, great video.

  5. Hmmm. I may be the odd one out and I’m definitely no Einstein (pun intended?)…I never thought you were a girl….anyway, now that we have that settled.

the short was a bit cute for my taste but not bad.

    Eva, he did well.

  6. Are you sure you’re a dude? You kinda whine like a girl… ;p

Loved the video! Love the concept of masks as well. Its such a fun metaphor to play with!
