Kittens, we have spoken previously about the power of costumes to inspire, so it should be no surprise that I simply had to share these photos from Jamie Moore Photography. Jamie, a wedding and lifestyle photographer in Texas, wanted to do a fun photoshoot with her young daughter Emma to celebrate Emma’s birthday. Finding only princess tutorials online, Jamie and Emma decided to take a different path:
We chose 5 women (five amazing and strong women), as it was her 5th birthday but there are thousands of unbelievable women (and girls) who have beat the odds and fought (and still fight) for their equal rights all over the world……..so let’s set aside the Barbie Dolls and the Disney Princesses for just a moment, and let’s show our girls the REAL women they can be.
Go to Jamie’s website for her full post and more exceptional pictures of Emma as trailblazers Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Coco Chanel, Jane Goodall, and Helen Keller.
