Kittens, if you’re in the United States, there’s a good chance you will be celebrating Thanksgiving this week. First declared a national holiday in 1789 by President George Washington, our modern harvest celebration is hallmarked by tables groaning with food; roast turkeys and vegetables, gravies and sauces, cobblers and casseroles.
Of course, what autumnal feast would be complete without a little pumpkin? At home at fall festivals from Halloween to Thanksgiving, these pumpkin dinner rolls from Beyond Kimchee are beyond darling. Redolent of yeast and pumpkin and crowned with a pecan stem, these little rolls are a snap to shape and would be the perfect addition to your holiday spread.
Happy baking, and stay tuned to TYoH all this week for a collection of posts on historical Thanksgiving quirks and other oddities!

I can almost feel them attaching themselves to my thighs! 😉
We don’t call them “rolls” for nothing! 🙂
LMAO @ vampy’s comment…as I drag my big butt away…
Some days, you just need to close your eyes and indulge. 😉
My rear end is getting bigger just looking at them. Men like a large butt so it’s a win/ win! I will post before and after pictures of my scale…. not so much….
You come with a shapely rump AND fresh-baked rolls? A man should be so lucky.
