Friday Night Features: “Tea Time” Short Film

This week’s featured horror short is a modern relic of an earlier age, shot on the nearly extinct medium of Super 8 film for Flicker’s Attack of the 50 Foot Reels short film festival. Created by Los Angeles-based animator, director, and sound designer Eric Deutschman, tonight’s film introduces us to an elderly lady going through the quotidian tasks of tea time…but as the second cup grows cold, we must begin to wonder where the other guests have gone, a question made only more unsettling by the herky jerky flicker of Super 8.  Enjoy!
