Blink and You’re Dead: DIY Weeping Angel Tree Topper

Darlings, as you may have guessed from this weekend’s posts, 13 Unique Gifts for Horror Lovers and The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, it’s Holiday of Horrors week here at The Year of Halloween!

Today’s post brings us this fantastic tutorial from Cynthia at The Creative Crossing to create your own Weeping Angel Tree Topper, inspired by “Blink” (Doctor Who Season 3, Episode 10).  Simply using a barbie, some clay, and an old water bottle, Cynthia presents a step-by-step guide to crafting this gorgeous and creepy angel – a fitting topper to any properly horrific Christmas Tree.  Hope you remembered some Dalek ornaments!

“Fascinating race, the Weeping Angels. The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely. No mess, no fuss, they just zap you into the past and let you live to death. The rest of your life used up and blown away in the blink of an eye. You die in the past, and in the present they consume the energy of all the days you might have had, all your stolen moments. They are creatures of the abstract.”
