Happy Halloween 2013!

The big day is finally here…Happy Halloween, sweetlings!  I hope you are all having the most marvelously delicious of spooky days. If you’re in need of a few eerie activities for a spine-chilling Halloween today, look no further than the TYoH archive, my pets!

Start off with a bit of spooky poetry to get yourself in the proper state of mind, then read up on some ominous history and other oddities. Set the mood with a little music and consider whipping up some Halloween-inspired food or a cocktail or two. If you’re starting to get in the spirit, you could try out a costume or makeup tutorial (don’t forget to take a picture for our annual Halloween contest!). Otherwise, turn down the lights and settle in with a few scary movies, whether something from our creepy online collection of horror shorts, or a full length indie horror or darkly hilarious horror-comedy streaming from Netflix or iTunes. However you choose to celebrate this most wickedly magical of holidays, darlings, I hope it is a wonderfully spooky and happy one. Join us back tomorrow for a Día de los Muertos-inspired post and the start of our Halloween 2014 countdown. Happy haunting!
