If Only I Could Remember These Dreams: Photography by Norman Reedus

The Sun’s Coming Up Like A Big Bald Head - Norman Reedus Photography Book

Darlings, it’s no secret that we’re big fans here of Prada-model-turned-zombie-killer Norman Reedus, AKA Daryl Dixon on AMC’s The Walking Dead.  While Reedus may be best known for eradicating the undead on a weekly basis, his career has been fascinatingly multifaceted, from successful turns modeling and acting to writing, photography, and directing short films for his own independent production company.  The best of this photography, surreal, forceful, alternately dream-like and gritty, is available now in a new photography collection from Reedus, The Sun’s Coming Up… Like A Big Bald Head.  A peek at the images in the gallery below confirms praise from Andrew Lincoln, Norman’s Walking Dead costar:

“I first met Norman on a blistering hot Georgia day four years ago. I have been trying to pin him down ever since and he has constantly eluded me. He is one of those rare human beings (if indeed he is one), that continues to surprise you the more you get to know him…These photos are capricious. One moment brutal, the next beautiful, sexual, and vulnerable in equal measure. In the blink of an eye, innocence turns to experience and everywhere there are masks…Some of the most liberating and exuberant photos involve masks. But my favourite images are playful and bewitching.”

The Sun’s Coming Up… Like A Big Bald Head is currently available for order in limited-edition hardcover for $75. If you prefer your photos with Reedus in front of the camera, enjoy this rather extensive Norman Reedus photo gallery, and stay tuned for all the details on last weekend’s Walker Stalker Con from Choo Fabulous, our intrepid convention reporter!
