Welcome to a rare Saturday edition of Friday Night Features, darlings! I’m still rattling around the eastern parts of the US to meet up with our TYoH writing staff, but I couldn’t leave you to face the weekend without a chill up your back! Earlier this year, there was a string on Reddit featuring the scariest two-sentence horror stories redditors could come up with. Some of them were exceptionally good:
“The doctors told the amputee he might experience a phantom limb from time to time. Nobody prepared him for the moments, though, when he felt cold fingers brush across his phantom hand.” – Gagege
“I can’t sleep” she whispered, crawling into bed with me. I woke up cold, clutching the dress she was buried in.” – anon.
“When I finally grabbed her in the darkness, I swam back to the surface. It never occurred to me how fast the ice could freeze over.” – ADGE_S
Tonight’s featured horror short, The Little Witch, closely parallels one of my favorite stories from this post, written by redditor justAnotherMuffledVo, but I won’t give away the story’s ending so you can watch this week’s horror short and enjoy!
(Short film via the always-fabulous Pretty Awful Things. Visit the original Reddit post for many more two-sentence horror stories.)
