A Feather on the Bright Sky: DIY Deco Hair Accessory

Darlings, here’s a quick costume tutorial before we get to tonight’s Friday Night Feature!  This DIY feather hair piece is very easy and would work for any number of costumes.  It particularly made me think of a circus-inspired look, flapper, or a steampunk saloon girl.  You can also use it as a starting point to accessorize the look from this 1911 hair tutorial.

Hope your costume selection is proceeding apace, and don’t forget to take some pictures this weekend for the big Halloween photo scavenger hunt – we’ve already gotten a winner for first picture submitted but there are still a ton of prizes to be won, my dears.  Good luck, and happy hauntings!

  1. This was fun to watch. I’m still debating whether or not to wear a costume — I always have my trusty creature horns — people tell me they look natural, like they’ve grown from the top of my head 🙂

    Hope your costume’s coming along.

    See you later!
