So when I was thinking of how to convince you to watch It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, it occurred to me that I didn’t have any idea how you would actually acquire it. Turns out Amazon has it for NINE BUCKS! That is pretty cheap. You probably spent more than that on lunch today.
When I was a kid, my brother and I would watch it when my mother told us it was on. Then when I was too old to watch it anymore, I just stopped. So I don’t actually know when it was on. Looking back, I didn’t know which network it was on or even WHEN they played it. October 1st? Who knows.
That is sort of sad, because it was great and I don’t know if it was on last year or if anyone even cares about it anymore. Well, I care. And I swear that every day from now until I get nine dollars to buy it I will steal the change out of my neighbor’s car. I will also turn ONE thing on. The radio, the wipers, the heater. Something. I just want him to know someone was in his car. *shudders*

I’m kind of embarrassed to admit that I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the whole thing. They definitely still play it every year, though.
I don’t know what to say.
Well there went Eva’s cred.
That’s a burn.
*yawns*
For sure on every year on a major network and I’ve watched it almost every year! One of my all time faves.
We will see, Jenn Martinelli. We will see.
It was on this year, though whichever network played it made the ridiculous decision to play it on Halloween night. I sure didn’t catch it… but I have it on DVD. 🙂 It’s not Halloween without it! 🙂
You got that right.
